Private business and lifestyle club The Bimasena has appointed independent PR agency Saggirio Communications as its strategic communications partner across Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia, as the club prepares to unveil new wellness spaces.

The partnership comes as The Bimasena enters its next phase of growth, with Saggirio tasked with strengthening the club’s regional brand positioning and introducing its evolving proposition to a new generation of leaders, entrepreneurs and globally minded professionals.

The agency will focus on building awareness around The Bimasena’s mix of business, culture, hospitality and community, while positioning its new wellness offering as an extension of the existing club experience.

The new wellness spaces, located on the third and fourth floors, will add to The Bimasena’s established business, dining and social offerings. The club describes the new chapter as a more integrated environment that brings its longstanding community focus together with movement, recovery and wellbeing.

“We are delighted to be working with Saggirio Communications to strengthen our brand presence further as we introduce our new wellness space across our key markets. We look forward to extending our reach and sharing The Bimasena’s enduring legacy, alongside our commitment to delivering elevated hospitality experiences,” said Adriel M. Simorangkir, managing director of The Bimasena.

Located in South Jakarta’s Dharmawangsa neighbourhood, The Bimasena was founded in 1997 under the leadership of the late Prof. Dr. Subroto. The membership-based club brings together business, art, culture and community across four core experiences: The Rooang, a social and dining destination; The Board Room, a private members’ parlour; The Private Suite, for meetings and celebrations; and The Wellness Club, its newest offering.

For Saggirio, the appointment will involve an integrated communications programme spanning media relations, executive profiling, thought leadership and editorial storytelling.

“The strongest brands are built not only through visibility, but through the stories, conversations, and communities that grow around them. The Bimasena has a distinctive story shaped by its legacy, its community, and its role as a place where ideas and relationships come together. As the club enters its next chapter, we look forward to bringing that story to a wider regional audience through meaningful conversations and editorial storytelling,” said Retta Oktaviani, managing director of Saggirio Communications.

The appointment also extends Saggirio’s work across hospitality, lifestyle and wellness, areas in which the boutique consultancy specialises.

The agency’s client portfolio includes Innit Lombok, Bridestory, Trehaus School Jakarta, Serenitree, Beyoutiful Aesthetic, Dear Me Beauty, Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), Marco’s Chop Shop, Thomson Reuters, Bank Mandiri Taspen, Soulace, Modernvet and DI SINI DI SANA by Rachman & Sons.
