Publicis Media Singapore has promoted Elaine Poh to chief operating officer.
MARKETING-INTERACTIVE understands that her promotion reflects Publicis Media's focus on strengthening operational decision-making at the country level within the agency and across the broader network.
At the same time, the move recognises Poh's hand in leading the domestic media, while formalising her expanded remit across the full Singapore portfolio — including both local and international teams.

In her new role, Poh will oversee operational alignment across all media clients and teams in Singapore, drive talent development and mobility across business lines, and work closely with Groupe leadership to integrate capabilities and accelerate growth.
She will continue to report to Ian Loon, CEO, media and digital at Publicis Groupe Singapore, and chief transformation officer, Southeast Asia.
Prior to her promotion, Poh was the managing director of Publicis Media for over four years, according to her LinkedIn. She also held the role of general manager at the agency.
Her longest stint was at Starcom, amounting to nearly 20 years of experience in the agency, helming the role of executive director and general manager.
Poh's appointment follows a series of strategic moves by Publicis Groupe to streamline leadership and integrate services across markets. In Malaysia, Publicis Groupe appointed Amit Sutha as its Malaysia CEO. In his new role, Amit will be fully responsible for all the operations of Publicis Groupe in the Malaysia market, from creative to media, influence, production, commerce, data, tech and clients. His priority will be to drive impact for the group's clients.
Meanwhile, in China, Liza Zhang has been named CEO of MSL and Publicis Influence, overseeing over 300 staff across three cities and driving synergies between the group's strategic communications and influencer offerings.
In this newly created role, Zhang will continue to report to Andy Ho, chief growth officer of Publicis Groupe China.
