Canva and SB19 launch creator campaign built around fan participation

Canva is leaning into the growing influence of fan communities in marketing through a new partnership with Filipino pop phenomenon SB19, launching a campaign that places user-generated creativity at the centre of brand engagement.
The visual communications platform has partnered with SB19 and Sony Music Entertainment for 'Kaya sa Canva', a campaign designed to transform the group's devoted fanbase, A'TIN, from audiences into active creators through exclusive design assets, editable templates and creative tools.
The initiative is anchored by the launch of the SB19 Creative Hub, a dedicated destination on Canva where fans worldwide can access officially licensed creative materials, including custom typography, SB19-inspired sticker packs and editable templates for posters, wallpapers, videos and photo booth strips. The platform will later expand with assets celebrating the group's "New Era", its latest single Lawless, as well as merchandise and social media templates created specifically for the fandom.

"The Philippines has one of the most passionate and creative fan communities in the world, and SB19 and A'TIN are proof of what that passion can build," said Laura Kantor, country manager of Canva Philippines.
"When Filipinos love something, they don't just watch it, they build a whole creative universe around it. With this campaign, we're handing fans the tools to turn their love for SB19 into something they've made themselves, because every fan has a creator inside them, waiting to be unlocked."
Beyond the design platform, Canva has also released an original campaign anthem, 'KAYA', accompanied by a music video that showcases Canva's drag-and-drop design capabilities and Canva Video. The visuals draw inspiration from fan-made content, positioning the campaign as both a tribute to A'TIN and a demonstration of the platform's creative features.
Canva cited research from global insights provider GWI showing that nearly 45% of Filipino internet users visited Canva during the past month, with Gen Z accounting for more than 61% of its monthly users. The findings point to a digitally native audience that is already accustomed to creating visual content, making fan communities a natural extension of the platform's user base.
For SB19, whose members are closely involved in songwriting, choreography and visual storytelling, the collaboration extends the group's emphasis on creativity to its supporters.
"From the very beginning, A'TIN has been at the heart of everything we do," said Pablo, leader of SB19.
"Their creativity, passion, and support continue to inspire us every day. Through this partnership, we're excited to create something together and celebrate the community that has become part of our story."
The SB19 Creative Hub and its accompanying template collection are now available globally on Canva, allowing fans to create, edit and share official-inspired content as the campaign unfolds.
