US-based K18 debuts world's first biotech haircare treatment in Bali

Bali has become the stage for a groundbreaking moment in professional haircare as K18, the US-based brand renowned for its biomimetic technology, officially launched its pioneering treatment concept, the K18 Biotech Ritual.
The event, held at Dahlia Salon’s newest location in Badak Agung, Bali, marked the global introduction of this ritual, alongside Indonesia’s inaugural K18 Hair Pavilion - a dedicated sanctuary for intensive, science-driven hair treatments.
Invited guests were among the first to experience the Biotech Ritual, which centres on K18’s signature Peptide Ultimate Repair Treatment. Clinically proven to repair between 18% and 20% of hair damage in a single session, the treatment harnesses a patented molecule developed over ten years. This K18Peptide™ penetrates deep into the hair cortex, reconnecting broken keratin chains - unlike conventional products that only address surface-level damage, the company said.

The Biotech Ritual offers a tailored approach, with three distinct treatments designed to address varying hair needs: the intensive Repair Ritual for severely damaged hair, the Maintenance Ritual for ongoing health, and the Clarifying Ritual which detoxifies and primes hair for optimal absorption. Complementing these salon treatments is a homecare range to sustain results.
Pandy Ramlah, technical director at Dahlia Salon, reflected on the significance of the launch: “This is not just a hair treatment with visible results, but a complete experience that offers relaxation, indulgence, and renewed confidence for every client. We believe that the combination of advanced technology and professional touch can create a transformation that’s not only visible on the outside but also felt from within.”
Adding to the sentiment, Ricky Mulyadi, CEO of PMI Haircare, the brand’s Indonesian distributor, said, “The synergy between K18’s technology and Dahlia Salon’s premium service is a strategic step toward bringing the future of haircare to Indonesia. The launch of K18 Biotech Ritual in Bali marks a significant milestone in setting a new standard for the professional salon industry.”
The launch event was more than a demonstration of cutting-edge hair science. Guests were treated to an immersive wellness experience featuring massages and hot stone therapy - underscoring K18’s commitment to combining effective treatment with luxurious indulgence.
With tropical climates accelerating hair damage through sun exposure and seawater, the introduction of K18 Biotech Ritual in Bali is well-timed. The brand’s promise is a paradigm shift in haircare: from superficial fixes to genuine, lasting repair that transforms hair from within.
K18 continues to push the boundaries of professional hair health across more than 100 countries, forging a reputation in science-led beauty solutions. Its collaboration with Dahlia Salon and PMI Haircare signals an ambitious chapter in bringing next-generation haircare rituals to discerning consumers in Indonesia and beyond.
