Starbucks Philippines celebrates women artists with #StrongLikeCoffee campaign
share on
Starbucks Philippines is celebrating International Women's Month by showcasing the talents of Filipino female artists through its initiative, "#StrongLikeCoffee Conversations."
This includes a panel conversation, held at the Abad Santos Tondo Community Store, highlighting the journeys of women in the art scene, fostering dialogue and empowerment. It featured notable artists such as Anina Rubio, Aze Ong, and Tara Soriano, whose works have been displayed across various Starbucks stores.
By bringing them together, the brand aims to spotlight their contributions and inspire future generations of female creatives. "This year, we've put together a campaign celebrating a fusion of coffee, local art, and inspiring Filipino artists who have helped bring some of our iconic store's art to life," said Jamie Silva, Starbucks Philippines' senior manager of marketing, digital and social impact, in a LinkedIn post.

Sculptor Alab Pagarigan is also part of the initiative, showcasing his signature brass and copper wire pieces.
As part of the campaign, Starbucks has also introduced "#StrongLikeCoffee" notecards featuring the artists' works. These are available exclusively at the Abad Santos Tondo and Maysilo Circle Community Stores, with a portion of proceeds directed towards nonprofit partners supporting youth education.
Through this initiative, Starbucks continues its commitment to fostering creativity and community, using art as a medium to drive meaningful conversations.
#StrongLikeCoffee has been the brand's signature tagline. Last year, it also marked International Women's Month with a fireside chat at the Abad Santos Tondo Community Store, featuring Anina Rubio, Lynn Pinugu, and Antoinette Jadaone.
