RHB Singapore has partnered Mediacorp as its main bank sponsor for the period blockbuster Emerald Hill - The Little Nyonya Story.
The partnership marks RHB's foray into television sponsorship while supporting a local production centred around Singapore's Peranakan heritage.
Additionally, RHB reaffirms its dedication to heritage preservation with its Orchard Premier Centre, a Peranakan-themed branch located opposite the historic Emerald Hill.

Beyond its flagship location, RHB has infused Peranakan-inspired decoration into three other branches across Singapore, highlighting its commitment to fostering deeper community ties beyond banking.
Customers can also experience RHB’s banking services at its branches, where they can receive personalised financial advice in spaces that blend cultural heritage with modern financial expertise.
"When we saw the opportunity to be part of Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story, we immediately recognised the tremendous synergy and potential. As a bank with a strong legacy and a progressive vision, we are honoured to support a local production that embodies culture, tradition and kinship, values that deeply resonate with our customers and reflect RHB’s longstanding heritage in both Singapore and Malaysia," said Luke Diep, head of brand marketing and communications at RHB.
"Mediacorp offers an exceptional platform to showcase Singapore’s rich history and cultural traditions. With the incredible talent behind the series and the nostalgia tied to The Little Nyonya, we believe this production will further strengthen RHB’s brand affinity," he added.
In tandem, Coreen Kwan, head of retail banking at RHB said, "Through the drama’s narrative, we hope to connect with viewers beyond traditional banking touchpoints. This partnership allows us to engage more customers through shared experiences and storytelling, strengthen our brand presence, and appeal to individuals considering to embark on their banking journey with us."
Audiences can tune in to Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story Mondays to Fridays at 9pm on Channel 8, with streaming available on mewatch Prime and Netflix.
RHB has released a string of films of its own in recent times. For Chinese New Year (CNY) this year, the bank looked to redefine the true meaning of wealth in its five-minute film titled "Wealth". In collaboration with creative agency FCB Shout, the film tells the true story of Tan Swee Ban, founder of Peace & Harmony Home a not-for-profit nursing centre in Penang that looks after the sick and neglected elderly.
Prior to that, RHB released a heartwarming CNY film titled "Acceptance", a dramatic retelling of autistic rights activist and filmmaker Beatrice Leong’s life.
