Global communications agency Redhill has elevated Windy AP to country head, Malaysia and Indonesia, effective 1 August 2026.

The appointment sees Windy take on an expanded remit from her previous role as country head, Indonesia. In her new role, she will oversee Redhill’s strategic direction, operations, client counsel, business growth and talent development across both markets, while strengthening collaboration and integrated capabilities between Malaysia and Indonesia.

In Malaysia, Windy will focus on building on the strength of Redhill’s local team and further establishing the agency as a communications partner to leading institutions, established enterprises and growth companies.

Redhill’s Malaysia team works with clients across sectors including banking, financial services, technology, lifestyle, tourism and consumer goods, with the agency looking to deepen its presence in the market and strengthen its capabilities across Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining Redhill, Windy held several senior marketing and business leadership roles in Indonesia. She was head of marketing at automotive marketplace CARRO, where she led marketing and communications across its B2C, B2B and C2B businesses, before moving to Orbit Future Academy as marketing director. She also served as director at Orbit Jobs, a career and recruitment platform focused on Industry 4.0 talent.

Commenting on her appointment, Windy said she was honoured to take on the expanded mandate across both markets.

“I am honoured to take on this expanded mandate across Malaysia and Indonesia. Malaysia is a strategically important market, shaped by a diverse and ambitious business community. I look forward to working closely with our experienced local team, drawing on Redhill’s work across banking, financial services, technology, tourism, consumer goods, lifestyle and other key sectors,” she said.

“Our focus will remain on providing thoughtful counsel, building meaningful relationships, and supporting organisations as they navigate an increasingly complex communications landscape in Malaysia and across the region,” she added.

Manisha Seewal, group president, Redhill said “Malaysia and Indonesia are important markets for Redhill, each with distinct strengths and considerable opportunities. Windy has done a tremendous job in growing our Indonesia business and is ready to bring that brilliance over to our Malaysia operations."

"Under Windy’s leadership, we look forward to fostering closer collaboration between our teams, deepening our local capabilities, and building on the strong foundations we have established to support our clients’ evolving needs across the region," added Seewal.

Redhill has been strengthening its presence in Malaysia, having appointed Dave Prem as senior director for Malaysia in 2025 to grow its local team and client portfolio. At the time, the agency said its Malaysia operation had evolved from primarily supporting its Singapore hub into a more established local presence.

Redhill’s Malaysia client roster includes Mastercard and Cisco, while the team has also led regional campaign execution for Kia and contributed to regional accounts including NTT Data, Nokia and Bank of America.
