Ad tech company PubMatic is ramping up investment in Hong Kong with the appointment of Mengyun Wu as advertiser solutions manager, based in Hong Kong.
In her new role, Wu will focus on expanding the partnership with agency and brand buyers in Hong Kong as part of PubMatic’s broader Greater China growth strategy.
The appointment strengthens PubMatic’s support for agencies and brands in Hong Kong and the broader region. “Hong Kong has long been an important market for PubMatic,” said Bob Wang, country manager of Greater China and South Korea, PubMatic.
“With digital maturity high and China-based brands scaling rapidly, we see significant opportunity to deepen our agency and brand relationships in Hong Kong. Establishing dedicated, in-market expertise demonstrates our commitment to supporting sophisticated, programmatic buying strategies across the region.”
Hong Kong has long served as a regional headquarters for global brands, agency holding companies, and independent agencies. For Chinese brands expanding internationally, Hong Kong remains a critical hub for media operations and campaign activation.
This increased investment reinforces PubMatic’s commitment to delivering AI-powered, transparent programmatic solutions that drive performance for buyers and sellers across the open internet.
As agencies and marketers in Hong Kong evolve toward more sophisticated, omnichannel programmatic strategies across CTV, online video, mobile, and desktop, the demand for greater transparency and supply path optimisation is continuously growing.

This office enables us to be here, listen to what our partners need, and build lasting partnerships with agencies and brands who are driving growth.”
