Pain relief brand Salonpas, Bali United team up to champion active lifestyles

Hisamitsu Pharma Indonesia, through its flagship brand Salonpas, has announced a year-long collaboration with Bali United, one of Indonesia’s premier Liga 1 football clubs. The partnership was unveiled at a press conference held at the Kinandari Venue, Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa in Bali.

The collaboration is designed not only to support the performance of Indonesia’s athletes but also to inspire the wider community to adopt healthier, more active habits with an emphasis on recovery and injury prevention.

Under the campaign banner “Be unstoppable like a champion,” Salonpas aims to be more than just a pain relief product. It seeks to support athletes holistically - not only during matches but throughout their rest and recovery periods, as well as their everyday lives.

Ryo Sato, president director of Hisamitsu Pharma Indonesia, emphasised the significance of the partnership within the context of the company’s 50 years in Indonesia: “We are proud that one of our flagship brands, Salonpas, has become an integral part of people’s lives in supporting an active lifestyle up to now.”

The partnership leverages Salonpas’s comprehensive product range tailored to support athletes at various stages of activity. “Through this collaboration, we aim to inspire people to take care of their bodies like professional athletes - starting with staying active, exercising regularly, and recognising the significance of the recovery process. The spirit of ‘Be unstoppable like a champion’ belongs not only to professional athletes but to anyone who wants to live an active and healthy life the right way,” said Desy Setiarini, senior product manager of Salonpas Let’s Move.

The product lineup under this initiative follows the “Strategi Tripl3S” approach: Salonpas Gel aids in muscle warming before activity; Salonpas Jet Spray addresses muscle pain and cramps during exercise; and Salonpas Cream alongside Gel-Patch assists in muscle tension relief post-activity. Beyond the pitch, Salonpas Koyo offers three levels of heat - Regular, Hot, and Extra Hot - to support athletes through their daily routines and training schedules, setting the brand apart from competitors that focus solely on sporting activity.

Players themselves also highlighted the role Salonpas plays in their routines. Irfan Jaya emphasised how meticulous care before, during, and after training shapes his performance, relying on Salonpas to keep his muscles primed for competition. Meanwhile, I Kadek Agung said that an athlete’s fitness extends beyond the pitch, with everyday aches managed through practical solutions such as Salonpas Koyo.
