OSK Group has appointed Amelia Lim (pictured) as its new head of group corporate communications, bringing more than two decades of experience in corporate storytelling and reputation management to the conglomerate's management team. She officially stepped into the role on 2 January 2026.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Lim's role is centred on strengthening the strategic alignment of the OSK brand across its businesses. At the group level, she will oversee both internal communications and external public relations, with a focus on ensuring the OSK Group's corporate milestones, values and long-term vision are communicated clearly and consistently to stakeholders and the media.

Lim replaces Regina Lee, who stepped down from her role as head of group corporate communications at OSK Group after one and a half years with the company, to take on a new role as senior vice president of strategic communications and public affairs at Khazanah Nasional in November 2025.

OSK Group is a conglomerate with diversified business interests in property, financial services, industries, hospitality and investment holding. It has also expanded beyond Malaysia into Australia, offering financial services and property development.

Prior to joining OSK Group, Lim led the communications and public relations function for Sea Limited in Malaysia. In August 2025, A+M reported that Lim was elevated to head of corporate communications at Shopee Malaysia, while continuing in her current role as head of public relations at Sea Limited Malaysia. There, she was responsible for corporate reputation management and media engagement.

Lim joined Sea Limited Malaysia in October 2024 from Ampersand Advisory, where she led campaigns as head of PR. Her previous leadership positions include head of brand and PR at TNG Digital, head of communications at GoBea and managing partner at boutique PR agency Perseid Consultancy. She also had stints at GO Communications as a senior brand manager, and in banking.

Commenting on her appointment, Lim said she was looking forward to contributing to an organisation with a strong heritage and established presence in Malaysia’s corporate landscape. "My priority is to maintain a clear and unified corporate identity that supports both our internal culture and our external reputation. I look forward to working alongside the team to drive a practical and proactive PR strategy that keeps pace with the OSK Group's growth and long-term objectives," she added.

In recent corporate communications people movements, RHB Banking Group had appointed Nishanthi Palani as its new head, group corporate communications and media relations, in April 2025. And in June, Visa named Sharmine Ishak as its new head of corporate communications for Malaysia. Later in September, AEON Credit Service appointed Wan Laila Fatihah Wan Omar Sukri as its new general manager of group corporate communications and PR. She previously led UEM Edgenta’s corporate communications function.
