Ngong Ping 360 has partnered with the classic Hong Kong comic “My Boy” (牛仔) and nine local artists to revitalise the monochrome comic, transforming the Ngong Ping Village into a colorful comic wonderland this Easter.

As a popular tourist destination for both local and international visitors, Ngong Ping 360's comic-themed installation reflects its commitment to promoting local culture, according to the release. It also aims to showcase Hong Kong’s unique artistic creations, inviting local and international guests to experience the city’s creative culture.

Also known as  “MY BOY ERA@NGONG PING 360”, the campaign runs from 28 March to 25 May. A giant "My Boy" comic-themed installation will be set up at the Stupa Square, featuring "My Boy" with his bunny ears and his dog joyfully chasing his father, who holds an Easter egg against a backdrop of comic books.

Meanwhile, nine local artists, including Eric Kot (葛民輝), Jan Lamb (林海峰), Gigi Leung (梁詠琪), Li Chi Tak (利志達), Alex Chan (塵阿力), Lai Tat Tat Wing (黎達達榮), Man Tsang (Man), Bonnie Pang, and Lousy, have reimagined “My Boy” through nine 3D sculptures and 2D artworks. Their unique artistic styles will be set against classic comic strip backdrops at four locations in Ngong Ping Village.

To enhance audience engagement, Ngong Ping 360 will launch the festive “My Boy” egg hunt adventure. During the Easter holiday from 18 to 21 April and the Golden Week from 1 to 5 May, guests who purchase a child round-trip cable car ticket will receive a free egg hunt party game card. Participants can locate the four “My Boy” checkpoints throughout the village, collect stamps on their game cards, and win exclusive Ngong Ping 360 x "My Boy" Easter-themed collectibles, including a pencil case or a comic drawing kit. Additionally, Ngong Ping 360 has introduced a special festive ticket offer for local children, available starting 21 March.
