Mamee Monster puts three generations of its brand on four tiny wheels

Mamee-Double Decker has partnered with Sunway Tiny Toys on an exclusive collectible collection under "Cerita Malaysia kita" ('Our Malaysia story'), a nationwide initiative celebrating iconic Malaysian stories, brands and memories through miniature recreations.
The collaboration translates Mamee Monster's heritage into a series of three miniature vehicles, each representing a different era of the brand's mascot. The vehicles were designed to trace how Mamee Monster has evolved across generations while remaining a familiar fixture of Malaysian life.
The collection sits within the broader "Cerita Malaysia kita" showcase spotlighting homegrown Malaysian brands.

While the three miniature vehicles have just hit the shelves in Sunway Tiny Toys, the partnership between the two homegrown stalwarts was actually announced back in January,
"Mamee Monster's story is also a Malaysian story, one built on shared memories, familiar flavours and simple moments generations grew up with," said How Yuan Yi, chief marketing office at Mamee-Double Decker.
She added, "Through 'Cerita Malaysia kita' and Sunway Tiny Toys, we are proud to preserve those memories in a playful, collectible way. We hope the collection helps Malaysians rediscover the Mamee Monster they grew up with, while inspiring future generations to appreciate homegrown brand stories."
Michelle Soong, general manager of Sunway Theme Parks Marketing and Business Development, also added that the pairing reflects Sunway Tiny Toys' broader mission.
"At Sunway Tiny Toys, our mission is to preserve and celebrate the stories that have shaped Malaysia. Mamee Monster is one of the country's most iconic homegrown brands, making it a natural addition to 'Cerita Malaysia kita'," she said.
"Through this collaboration, we hope collectors can reconnect with cherished childhood memories and become the guardians of a beloved brand legacy that generations of Malaysians have grown up with," added Soong.
Just last month, Mamee Monster had also collaboration with another homegrown Malaysian name, ZUS Coffee, for a Merdeka-season campaign called "Lain tapi NGAM" ('Different, but it works') which played on a viral social media rivalry between the two brands' mascots to roll out limited-edition drinks, a nasi lemak-flavoured snack pack and co-branded merchandise.
At the time, the snack brand said that the collaboration may look unexpected at first but makes "complete sense once Malaysians experience it."
