Audible has unveiled its latest global brand campaign, "Stories that speak to you" rolling out across film, out-of-home (OOH), digital out-of-home (DOOH), social, digital, audio and experiential activations in 11 markets.

The campaign launches first across the US, Canada, UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Australia, before expanding to Mexico and Brazil on 17 August. Japan will follow later this year, while India is slated to launch in 2027.

Designed to reinforce Audible as a premium destination for immersive audio entertainment, the campaign explores how audiobooks, podcasts and original productions can transform everyday moments into richer, more meaningful experiences.

At the heart of the campaign are two hero films. One follows a jogger who heads out for a short run but becomes so absorbed in an audiobook that he unknowingly completes a marathon, journeying through surreal landscapes without ever breaking from the story.

The second centres on a new father whose audiobook inspires him to adopt a healthier lifestyle, ultimately helping him become more present in his child's life.

According to Audible, the campaign reflects consumers' growing desire to make better use of their time, positioning its audio content as both entertaining and enriching.

The campaign also showcases Audible's continued investment in premium audio storytelling, highlighting its portfolio of original series, full-cast productions, investigative journalism and reimagined classics. Recent launches include full-cast audio editions of the Harry Potter series, with a multilingual adaptation of Dracula also in the pipeline.

It also spotlights new product innovations, including immersion reading and AI-powered search and discovery features, as Audible continues to expand its audio entertainment offering.

The media plan leans heavily on video, outdoor and social channels, with placements timed around major sporting events and entertainment launches. As part of the rollout, Audible will take over London's King's Cross Station, Melbourne's Spencer Street tram station and key retail destinations across São Paulo.

"Our listeners seek stories that make them feel something and stay with them long after they press play," said Cynthia Chu, chief financial and growth officer at Audible.

"'Stories that speak to you' captures the transcendent, transformative experience that has habituated so many people to Audible. The captivating, immersive storytelling we deliver to our listeners genuinely enriches the way they live," she added.

The campaign marks the first work from Audible's newly formed in-house creative group, developed in partnership with the company's marketing team. It was created alongside creative agency Special Group, directed by Megaforce and photographed by Olivia Malone.

The launch builds on Audible's first global brand campaign, "There's more to imagine when you listen," which debuted in 2024. It also follows the company's announcement earlier this year that global membership grew nearly 800% between 2015 and 2025, with membership projected to more than double again over the next three years.
