Kenvue has appointed Anindya Dasgupta as its new group president for Asia Pacific, effective 14 July 2025.
He succeeds Ellie Xie, who will remain with the company for a transition period. Dasgupta will lead the consumer health company’s APAC business and follows what the company described as a “thorough and thoughtful search process” to steer the region through its next phase of growth.
Dasgupta brings nearly three decades of experience in consumer goods, with leadership roles across GSK, PepsiCo, Fonterra, and Imperial Brands. Most recently, he served as chief consumer officer at Imperial Brands, where he helped shape the firm’s non-tobacco portfolio and led efforts in product innovation and category expansion.

He also founded Growth Officers Inc., a consulting firm focused on helping private equity portfolio companies identify acquisition targets and unlock growth across Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe.
According to Kenvue, Dasgupta previously led Fonterra’s consumer dairy business from US$1.1 billion to US$3.2 billion, holding both global and regional commercial leadership roles. At PepsiCo, he oversaw the company’s US$32 billion non-carbonated beverages portfolio globally, and held several senior roles within GSK’s consumer health division in both India and the UK.
Based in the region, Dasgupta will now lead a fully integrated team across the APAC business, focused on accelerating growth through data, technology and science-led consumer experiences.
“Dasgupta is a transformational commercial business leader with a strong track record of driving growth and delivering value. He brings proven expertise in commercial strategy, sales, marketing and business development. We are excited to welcome him to our leadership team and look forward to his results-driven leadership across our Asia Pacific region," said Thibaut Mongon, chief executive officer, Kenvue.
Mongon added, “I would like to thank Xie for her contributions to Kenvue. She was instrumental in establishing our standalone company in the region, reshaping our Asia Pacific portfolio to reflect Kenvue’s strengths, and significantly upgrading our digital commercial capabilities, scaling a new social and ecommerce model across all markets in the region. We wish her all the best.”
Dasgupta’s appointment comes shortly after Kenvue concluded its APAC media pitch, awarding the business to Publicis Media. The pitch, which was called earlier this year, saw the account move from IPG. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE understands R3 handled the review.
