



HSBC HK's Brian Hui steps up as chief customer officer of wealth and personal banking

HSBC’s managing director and head of customer propositions and marketing Brian Hui (pictured) has stepped up as chief customer officer, wealth and personal banking (WPB), Hong Kong.
He reports to Maggie Ng, head of wealth and personal banking, Hong Kong, HSBC.
In this newly created role, he will be tasked at elevating HSBC’s customer experience across all segments along the client continuum from retail to GPB, and fostering deeper connectivity within the Greater Bay Area and in key international corridors.
Additionally, he will take on expanded responsibilities for Data Analytics and Customer Relationship Management where these capabilities are integral to our customers and offerings.
Hui brings over two decades of experience in users' growth, marketing, digital strategy and transformation, customer experience and commercial roles across financial services, eCommerce and startups.
Previously, he has held global management roles in Faraday Future, LeEco and Amazon in the US and Mainland China, where he took the helm of a wide range of functions including sales and marketing, customer growth, product development and customer experience.
Earlier in his career, Brian worked for Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank across Hong Kong, China and the UK in the areas of e-business, sales and marketing and channel management.
