Hotel Indonesia Kempinski rolls out premium Iftar, Eid feasts and gifting for Ramadan

Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta is positioning Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr as a holistic luxury experience this year, unveiling a month-long programme that blends Indonesian culinary heritage, Middle Eastern influences and destination-driven hospitality.

Set within one of Jakarta’s most recognisable landmarks, the hotel’s Ramadan and Eid offering spans dining, gifting and staycation experiences, reflecting a broader strategy to turn seasonal moments into immersive brand touchpoints rather than standalone promotions.

At the heart of the programme is “Flavours of Ramadan” at Signatures Restaurant, where the hotel presents a daily Iftar buffet designed to bridge Indonesian and Middle Eastern culinary traditions.

Running throughout the fasting month from 17:30 to 21:00, the spread combines familiar local favourites such as Nasi Kebuli with Ottoman-inspired dishes, including Chicken Topkapi, fish mastic and a curated selection of kebabs. Live carving stations, notably Kambing Guling, add a sense of theatre, while the dessert offering leans into Turkish classics such as Umm Ali, Riz bi Haleeb and Water Muhalabiah.

For Eid al-Fitr, Signatures Restaurant will pivot to a two-day celebratory lunch concept that combines traditional Lebaran staples with contemporary luxury dishes.

Alongside classics such as Ketupat Lebaran and Opor Ayam, the Eid spread introduces Black Angus Tomahawk, Salmon en Croute and roasted duck, signalling a deliberate balance between nostalgia and indulgence.

For guests seeking a quieter setting, Nirwana Lounge offers a more restrained Iftar alternative through its Breakfasting Takjil experience. Available daily from 17:30 to 19:30, the menu focuses on Indonesian Jajanan Pasar, savoury bites, premium dates and refreshing beverages.

Extending beyond on-site experiences, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski is also tapping into Ramadan’s gifting culture through a tiered Eid Hamper Collection.

Available in four variants - Kareem, Eid, Shukran and Mubarak - the hampers combine artisanal cookies, premium nuts and beverages with Bali Kintamani ground coffee, Erasmus black tea and an Arabian-scented candle. The packaging, inspired by desert cityscapes and rendered in muted teals, beiges and deep blues, reinforces the collection’s premium and seasonal identity.

To complete the experience, the hotel is offering a Ramadan staycation package valid from 19 February to 22 March 2026. The package includes a 5% room discount, 30% savings on a second room and daily breakfast or Sahoor for two adults and two children under 12.

In-house guests also gain access to early Sahoor service from 02:30 to 04:00, as well as weekend dining privileges at Kempi Deli, reinforcing the hotel’s aim to keep guests within its ecosystem throughout the festive period.

Taken together, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta’s Ramadan and Eid programme reflects how luxury hospitality players are reframing religious and cultural moments as carefully curated brand experiences - designed not just to serve, but to linger in memory.
