HK Disneyland transforms into a villainous playground this Halloween

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) is embracing its darker side as "Disney Halloween time" returns from 18 September to 1 November 2026. The park has transformed into a wicked playground filled with new shows, villainous encounters, seasonal dining, and limited-edition merchandise designed for groups and families to experience together.
Taking centre stage at the Castle of Magical Dreams is "Mickey’s happy Halloween adventure," a brand-new musical celebration featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and friends in festive attire singing the new original track "Halloween is here." Young guests can also participate in a special Halloween Costume Parade around the Castle Hub.

For fans of darker magic, the popular street takeover "Uninvited! A villains takeover party" returns on a grander scale. Maleficent and an alliance of 11 notorious Disney Villains—including Hades, Jafar, Gaston, and Oogie Boogie—have extended their takeover route from Main Street, USA to the castle stage, backed by their new anthem, "The uninvited."
The critically acclaimed musical "Let’s get wicked" also returns to Theater in the Wild, while surprise "Villain Hour" pop-ups will occur spontaneously across Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland.
Guests can enjoy unique character moments, such as meeting Duffy and Friends in their autumn outfits, drawing spooky characters at Animation Academy, and interacting with the trickster trash can, Disney PUSH.
The Wicked Fun Trick-or-Treat Trail also returns across multiple themed lands. At River View Cafe, "Jack Skellington’s The Nightmare Before Dinner" offers an immersive dining experience featuring character appearances by Jack, Sally, and Oogie Boogie alongside a DIY welcome potion.

Seasonal treats across the park range from Kyoho Grape Soft Serve topped with Maleficent horns to pizza-decorating workshops at Main Street Corner Cafe. Resort hotels are extending the festivities with themed buffets, the "Wicked Poolside Night" at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, creative workshops, and in-room party packs.
To mark the season, HKDL is offering special group promotions, including 20% off Magic Access memberships for groups of three or more through 30 December, and a "Bring a friend" offer allowing passholders to bring guests at a 40% discount on regular park tickets during the Halloween period.
Visitors can further streamline their trip with Disney Premier Access for priority entry and viewing at major shows, or book a 15-minute magic snaps photo session for unlimited digital downloads of their visit.
