CapitaLand malls is teaming up with Starbucks to bring five festive Bearista characters to life this Christmas, combining interactive personality quizzes, larger-than-life installations and experiential pop-ups to engage shoppers across Singapore.
The collaboration kicks off at Bugis Junction Fountain Square, where shoppers can meet five Starbucks Bearistas – Brewster, Jam, Star, Snowmallow and Dasha – each representing a different personality inspired by themes of creativity, connection, discovery and giving.
The activation follows a series of visual teasers and clues designed to build anticipation ahead of the characters' reveal on 4 November.

At the heart of the experience is the "Discover your inner Starbucks Bearista" digital personality quiz, which invites shoppers to find their festive match based on their personalities. Participants are also paired with a Starbucks beverage and receive a unique reward code that can be entered into the CapitaStar app to unlock festive rewards.
From 4 to 8 November, shoppers can visit Bugis Junction Fountain Square to redeem festive rewards, including Starbucks beverage vouchers and CapitaStar loyalty points, with complimentary drink redemptions available at participating outlets until 30 November.
The five characters each bring a different personality to the campaign. Star represents connection and inclusivity, while Jam celebrates self-expression and fun. Brewster embodies creativity and experimentation, Snowmallow focuses on appreciating life's little moments, and Dasha champions generosity and the spirit of giving.
The Bearista reveal also serves as a preview of "Brewing up Christmas magic at CapitaLand malls", a wider festive campaign running from 11 November to 31 December across 16 CapitaLand retail and workspace properties.
As part of the campaign, larger-than-life Bearista inflatables and festive installations will be rolled out across participating properties, alongside an exclusive limited-time Starbucks beverage available at selected outlets. The collaboration will also extend into experiential retail through dedicated Bearista Holiday Experience pop-ups at Raffles City Singapore and Bugis+.
These pop-ups will introduce what the organisers describe as Singapore's first create-your-own cold foam beverage concept, allowing visitors to personalise their drinks while exploring interactive coffee discovery zones and participating in hands-on roast appreciation workshops.
Shoppers will also be able to purchase festive merchandise and limited-edition collectibles, including Bearista plushies, mugs, tumblers and event-exclusive keepsakes.
Beyond the physical installations, CapitaLand will continue to engage shoppers through its CapitaStar loyalty platform, with additional festive rewards and member experiences rolling out from 11 November.
The campaign brings together Starbucks' character-led storytelling and CapitaLand's retail ecosystem, using gamification, personalised rewards and immersive experiences to encourage shoppers to engage with the festive celebrations both online and in person.
Meanwhile, other brands in Singapore are also extending their festive campaigns beyond traditional retail spaces. The Christmas Atelier has taken its celebrations onto the Downtown Line with a month-long train activation aimed at bringing its roster of local brands and artisans into commuters' everyday journeys.
Running until 14 November, the specially dressed MRT train forms part of The Christmas Atelier's 2026 "Delivering Christmas magic" campaign, supported by Enterprise Singapore. Featuring festive graphics and collectible keepsakes, the activation aims to build awareness and anticipation ahead of The Christmas Atelier's return to Marina Bay Sands from 12 to 14 November.
