Cheil Indonesia welcomes new director to lead retail and campaign

Cheil Indonesia has appointed marketing strategist Jackie Jeong (pictured) as its new director to lead retail and campaign, MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has learned. With an 18-year career spanning global markets, Jeong brings extensive expertise in integrating retail, digital, and experiential marketing.

Jeong's appointment signals a new chapter for Cheil Indonesia, as the agency continues to elevate its presence in the country's dynamic marketing landscape. His career has seen him lead transformative projects across Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East, with a strong focus on cultural insights and cutting-edge design.

A release seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE said that Jeong has driven flagship retail rollouts for Samsung in London and Stockholm and played a pivotal role in creating Hyundai Motor's brand exhibition centre in Korea, earning accolades such as the Red Dot and iF design awards.

More recently, he spearheaded omni-channel campaigns for Samsung's Galaxy series and Bespoke appliances while also developing enterprise solutions for B2B clients in consumer electronics, automotive, entertainment, and government sectors.

"I've always believed that great marketing doesn't just sell - it creates moments that matter," Jeong said. "Indonesia

Jeong's diverse background includes leadership roles at Cheil Worldwide, CJ ENM's CJ LiveCity, and the Jeju Forum, where he successfully managed large-scale events and conceptualised immersive brand experiences. His appointment underscores Cheil Indonesia's dedication to offering globally inspired yet locally relevant marketing solutions, the release said.

As of now, Cheil Indonesia has around 150 employees. Specialising in performance-driven marketing, the company operates across brand communications, experiential marketing, and commerce.
