Canada Goose unveils CNY capsule inspired by the Year of the Horse

Luxury apparel brand Canada Goose has launched its latest Lunar New Year capsule to celebrate the Year of the Horse, drawing inspiration from the strength, momentum, and freedom that the Horse symbolises.

Reflecting a balance between movement and composure, the collection is guided by the message, “Move with conviction, live with intention”, encouraging a purposeful and confident approach to the year ahead. As the new year begins, Canada Goose aims to invite individuals to embrace renewal with clarity and confidence — stepping forward with intention and marking the season as a moment of purposeful new beginnings. 

The capsule is defined by the introduction of carmine red, a rich, yet restrained seasonal colour that represents vitality, good fortune, and inner strength. Echoing the festive significance of the Lunar New Year, the palette is expressed through Canada Goose’s signature design language — clean lines with considered proportions and a modern, understated aesthetic that seamlessly bridges function and style.

The collection also features a collaboration with Los Angeles–based contemporary artist Matt McCormick, whose work subtly references themes of nature and wild horses. Through a refined visual approach, the collaboration adds a layer of cultural and artistic depth to the Lunar New Year offering, aligning symbolism with modern design sensibility.

Spanning men’s, women’s and gender-neutral styles, the 2026 Lunar New Year capsule highlights key pieces such as the stratus hoody and Aethera jacket, alongside the rove crew, vantage t-shirt and roam t-shirt featuring Lunar New Year exclusive graphics designed by Matt McCormick. Inspired by the form and lines of the horse, the graphics convey a festive meaning through a minimalist composition, integrating seamlessly into the collection’s overall fashion narrative.

The 2026 Lunar New Year capsule is now available in Hong Kong Harbour City, ifc and Macau Wynn Palace Store. Macau Galaxy and The Londoner Store will be available starting from 9 February.

Back in October last year, Canada Goose launched two stores at Wynn Palace and The Londoner in Macau as part of its Asia expansion.

Located within one of Macau’s most prestigious destinations, the 1,830 square feet Wynn Palace store embodies a curated, gallery-like experience. Seasonal product is featured alongside the Canada Goose Art Collection, connecting the brand’s Northern heritage with Macau’s unique coastal landscape.
