Brand HK seeks for digital media agencies for Mainland and overseas

Hong Kong is hunting for digital media agencies to promote Brand Hong Kong internationally and in mainland China respectively, which will last for 12 months commencing on 1 August 2026 and expiring on 31 July 2027.

Under the agreement, the agency is required to provide digital media promotion services including planning, booking and advertisement coordination to promote Brand Hong Kong in the Mainland, whereas another contractor is asked to perform the same task in the international markets.

According to the official tender document, the tender submission deadline will be at noon on 2 June 2026. All tenders must be deposited in the tender box before the tender closing time. Late tenders or tenders not deposited in the specified tender box will not be accepted.

Back in 2025, the Hong Kong government dished out around HK$16 million to hire local digital agencies Migather and Tango Digital to help promote "Brand Hong Kong" in Mainland China and internationally.

According to the government gazette, the Information Services Department (ISD) approved two contracts of HK$8.02 million and HK$7.65 million respectively, to hire Tango and Migather.

Tango was required to undertake a digital media promotion including planning, booking and advertisement coordination to promote “Brand Hong Kong” in the international markets for a period of 12 months, from 1 August 2025 until 31 July 2026.
