Beame's regional marketing head departs after 3 years

Beame's regional head of marketing Samson Fong (pictured) has departed after three years to rejoin Hong Kong venture builder Inspect Element as partner and head of growth.
In conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Fong said, "After my tenure at Beame, I am transitioning back to the agency side to rejoin Inspect Element, Hong Kong-based venture builder and growth agency as a key partner. This move allows me to leverage my experience to serve a broader portfolio of established brands and ambitious startups, acting as a fractional CMO with a specific focus on digital marketing and AI integration."
In his new role, Fong will be leading digital marketing and growth initiatives as a fractional CMO/CGO for high-growth companies, he said. "A significant part of my new scope involves 'AI activation'—bridging the gap between marketing and technology to help in-house teams adopt AI workflows fast. Our partner and client record includes work with major brands such as Bowtie, HKBN, Preface, HKTDC, HKSTP, Grantit, and Alfred24."
With over 10 years of experience, Fong is a senior growth marketer specialising in scaling startups. As an early team member at companies such as Xiaomi, DJI, and Zenyum, he was instrumental in their journey from launch to hyper-growth, building brands and multi-million-dollar campaigns from scratch.
He joined Beame in 2023 as the company’s first marketing hire, building the function from scratch as the head of marketing. Covering the company's operations across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia, he reported directly to Beame’s founder and CEO, Jason Fan.
He said, "The past three years with Beame have been incredibly dynamic and rewarding. Building the marketing team from the ground up alongside Jason, we successfully positioned Beame as a pioneer in reimagining cross-border dental and healthcare tourism—expanding from Hong Kong to the GBA and Southeast Asia in the post-pandemic landscape."
"As I move into 2026, I see a massive opportunity to apply these learnings on a larger scale. By returning to Inspect Element, we can help more organisations navigate the intersection of growth marketing and AI. I am thrilled to continue advising Beame while simultaneously partnering with the next-gen forward-thinking brands," he added.
