Your Maker celebrates Honda account win with a bike giveaway

Your Maker is marking its appointment by Honda Motorcycle Malaysia with a giveaway, but there is one catch: the winner does not get to keep the prize.
The Malaysian creative agency has teamed up with event collaborator Vibe Tribe to give away a new Honda Vario 125, with participants instead asked to nominate someone they believe deserves the motorcycle.
The initiative marks Honda Motorcycle Malaysia coming on board as a client for Your Maker, with the agency and Vibe Tribe choosing to turn the new business announcement into a campaign rather than a conventional partnership post.

The Honda Vario 125 will be given to the person nominated by the eventual winner, meaning participants can enter on behalf of someone else, including people who may not have a social media presence.
Participants can nominate someone by commenting on the giveaway post and explaining why they believe the person deserves the motorcycle. Nominations are open until 23 September 2026.
The idea was informed in part by Your Maker's work on Honda Vario 125's launch, which included giveaways involving creators and personalities.
Through that work, the agency said it saw how a motorcycle could be more than a prize, particularly for people who rely on two-wheel transport for their daily work and responsibilities.
That led the team to focus the giveaway on people who may not typically come across such opportunities themselves, including delivery riders, those collecting recyclable materials and people still relying on older motorcycles for their daily commute.
Mario, CEO of Vibe Tribe, said the idea was intended to move beyond the typical giveaway mechanic by allowing people to recognise someone in their own community.
“Most giveaways feel like gimmicks, but this one is about giving someone a real chance,” he said.
“What makes it truly meaningful is that it comes from someone close who has seen the struggle firsthand, turning kindness into something impactful,” he added.
The initiative also comes against a backdrop of Your Maker’s longstanding focus on unconventional agency-client relationships. In 2021, A+M reported on the agency’s “Nak kasi cucuk free boleh” ('Want to get something done for free') initiative, which offered complimentary creative work to a selected brand.
At the time, co-founder Lee Tak Shune said mutual respect was key to a strong agency-client relationship, with both sides able to brainstorm and build briefs together while having “fun celebrating the wins” when things work.
