Outdoor infrastructure group Wildstone is accelerating its Australian expansion, securing nine premium billboard sites across six structures in Melbourne and lifting its local portfolio to 71 sites.
The acquisition from High Street Media follows April’s purchase of Total Outdoor Media’s regional network in Victoria and signals that the group’s promised aggressive growth in the market is starting to materialise.

The new assets include three double-sided digital and static boards and three single-sided digital screens, with four located on major arterials such as the South Gippsland, Frankston and Princess Freeways. The other two sit on the Metropolitan and Western Ring Roads. Five of the sites are managed by oOh!media under long-term agreements, while Civic Outdoor operates the sixth.
Wildstone entered the Australian market in May 2024 with a plan to build scale quickly by acquiring and digitising billboard assets. The company now controls 44 static and 27 digital boards locally, aligning with its global strategy of owning outdoor infrastructure while partnering with operators to maximise value.
“We’re pleased to have completed another strategic transaction in Victoria as we continue to grow our footprint across the country,” Noel Cook, managing director of Wildstone Australia, said.
“Reaching 71 billboard assets in just over a year reflects the strength of our approach and the response from billboard owners and landlords looking for long-term value. We remain focused on further acquisitions in both metropolitan and regional markets.”
Globally, Wildstone controls more than 5,400 billboard assets.
