Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is celebrating the bond between pets and their owners with the launch of its exclusive "Furever in style" collection, a limited-edition lifestyle range designed to blend style, comfort, and function.
The collection includes practical and playful items such as collapsible water bowls, collars, leashes, harnesses, pet apparel, caps, and even matching socks for owners.

Crafted for daily walks or weekend adventures, the collection is designed to keep tails wagging and hearts full. Prices range from RM23.30 for collapsible water bowls to RM68.90 for cat and dog singlets, with matching socks for owners available at RM27.00.
Volkswagen describes the initiative as an extension of its brand philosophy, where cars (and now lifestyle items) are about more than mobility, embodying moments, memories, and togetherness.
The "Furever in style" collection is available for a limited time at select dealerships including Volkswagen Glenmarie, Puchong, Sg. Petani, and Alor Setar.
To engage with the local pet community, Volkswagen will also host a pet adoption drive at Jaya One on 20 and 21 September, from 10AM to 6PM. At the event, the collection will be on sale, and pet owners who purchase items can have their pets photographed on the spot by a professional photographer.
With Millennials and Gen Z increasingly identifying as pet parents, Volkswagen’s latest move taps into a growing segment of first-time car buyers who factor their pets’ comfort into purchasing decisions.
Volkswagen isn’t alone in courting this audience. Earlier this year, ASICS named Felix the Samoyed, a fluffy internet favourite, as its “Mind’s best friend” ambassador, highlighting the mental health benefits of moving with pets. The brand dubbed him the original “exercise influencer,” thanks to his love of walks, runs, and zoomies.
Felix, a seven-year-old globe-trotting canine, boasts over one million Instagram followers and has visited 36 countries with his owners. His content, a mix of scenic landscapes, playful antics, and humor, has made him a hit among dog lovers and travel enthusiasts alike.
