Time turns football fandom’s pain points into customer perks
share on
Time Home Internet is helping football fans stay connected to the moments that matter with its "Extra time support" campaign, bringing together giveaways, customer perks and on-ground activations designed to enhance the match-viewing experience.
Running from 21 May to 26 July, the campaign gives Time Home Internet customers the chance to win exclusive football memorabilia, including signed jerseys from some of the world’s top football stars. Customers only need to be a Time Home Internet subscriber and complete an entry form, with no additional purchase or plan upgrade required.
The campaign’s grand prize will see one lucky winner receive a five-day, four-night trip to Europe with football match tickets, offering them the opportunity to watch their favourite club live.

Beyond the giveaway, Time Home Internet is also turning one of football’s most nail-biting moments into a customer benefit through its "Penalty for penalty" initiative. From 29 June to 21 July, whenever a penalty shoot-out takes place during the tournament period, Time Internet will release a promotional code via its Instagram Stories.
New customers switching to Time Home Internet can use the code when signing up online to redeem a RM700 Touch ‘n Go eWallet voucher, which can help offset early termination fees charged by their previous internet provider.
The campaign will also extend offline with "Extra time support" at The Campus Ampang from 18 to 19 July. Timed around the tournament's late-night fixtures, Time Home Internet will hand out free "survival kits" to help fans power through the next workday after staying up to catch the action. Each kit includes coffee sachets, eye drops, breath mints and a desk tent card that playfully lets others know its owner was up all night watching football. Visitors will also stand a chance to win signed football jerseys.
Through the campaign, Time Home Internet aims to support fans beyond connectivity, creating more ways for customers to enjoy the excitement around football season.
The campaign comes as Time Internet continues to shift its brand positioning from being solely a home internet provider to becoming a more consumer-first brand that supports everyday experiences.
The company has been focusing on creating practical value for consumers through initiatives that address everyday moments and frustrations, from its “Life’s smoother with us” campaign to activations designed to ease consumer pain points beyond the product itself.
This approach is reflected in “Extra Time Support”, which sees Time Internet tapping into football fandom beyond connectivity, helping fans navigate common match-day moments such as streaming matches at home, switching providers, and recovering after late-night games.
