Tiger Beer asks: Have you met your inner tiger?

Tiger Beer is putting a new spin on courage in its latest global brand campaign, encouraging consumers to recognise the everyday moments that bring out their "inner tiger".
Created in partnership with LePub Singapore, the campaign introduces a new creative idea, "Your inner tiger is more powerful than you think" and builds on the beer brand's longstanding "Uncage your tiger" platform.
At the centre of the campaign is a cinematic hero film featuring people confronting situations that call for courage in different ways. These range from the adrenaline rush of base jumping and the pressure of stepping onto a football pitch to the nerves before delivering a career-defining presentation.

Each character is accompanied by a larger-than-life tiger, which serves as a visual representation of their inner strength. Rather than taking centre stage, the tiger remains alongside them as a quiet but imposing presence as they face each challenge.
Through the film, Tiger Beer aims to move away from traditional depictions of courage as physical fearlessness or extraordinary heroism, instead positioning it as something that can surface in both high-stakes situations and everyday decisions.
The creative direction is informed by research conducted by Kantar for Tiger Beer, which found that perceptions of courage in Southeast Asia are evolving towards a quieter and more personal definition, according to the brand.
The campaign is now live across Tiger Beer's social channels in Malaysia, before rolling out across Southeast Asia and key global markets.
“The creative challenge was to disruptively move beyond traditional heroism and show courage as something raw, authentic, and inherently human – something that already exists in all of us," said Sam Fielding, global brand director, Tiger Beer.
He added, "We wanted to craft a bold visual metaphor where the Tiger becomes a mirror, reflecting each person's inner strength. More than a campaign, we're igniting a conversation that celebrates the courage in all of us, reminding viewers to uncage their own inner tiger."
In tandem, Stephan Schwarz, executive creative director, LePub Singapore, said, "Courage has always been sold to us as something rare, reserved for dramatic, life-changing leaps. As a brand with courage in its DNA, Tiger wanted to prove the opposite."
"In Southeast Asia especially, people found the old heroic clichés hard to relate to, so we built a creative platform that encompasses those more familiar moments – speaking up, starting over, asking for help – which deserve to be celebrated just as loudly. The tiger in this film never roars over anyone. It watches, it reflects, and it reminds you that the strength you're looking for is already yours," he added.
The global push builds on a string of recent campaigns across Southeast Asia that have seen Tiger Beer tap into local identity, shared experiences and personal expressions of courage.
In Singapore, Tiger Beer recently marked National Day with its "Born in Singapore. Chosen worldwide." campaign, rolling out experiential activations across the island. The campaign spanned a waterfront gathering at Kampung Bugis, experiences aboard the Singapore Flyer and bumboat cruises, as the homegrown brand looked to reinforce its local roots through community-led celebrations and shared experiences.
Meanwhile in Malaysia, Tiger Beer has been exploring the theme of courage through "Tiger courage beats", an AI-powered activation under its broader "Roar with courage" platform. Running from 1 August to 15 September, the campaign invites consumers to submit personal stories of resilience, which are then transformed into personalised songs.
