TBWA\ Group Indonesia has appointed Nicholas Kosasih (pictured) as its new chief creative officer, effective 16 October 2025. Having started his career at the agency, it described the move as “a homecoming built on grit, craft, and a decade of restless creativity.”
Kosasih, who previously served as regional creative director at Hakuhodo Asia Pacific, began his career with TBWA Jakarta, and now returns to lead all creative efforts at TBWA\ Group Indonesia (also known as TCP-TBWA Indonesia). He succeeds Rizky Wisnu, who has helmed the role over the past three years.
As part of the management team, Kosasih will report directly to the president and board of directors. His mandate, he said, is clear: “To create more disruptive work that moves our clients’ business in real numbers.”

“After 19 years in the industry, working across Jakarta, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur, I am delighted to return to my starting point: TBWA Jakarta,” Kosasih said. “This agency, with its disruption approach, set the foundation for my development as a creative talent. Today, my professional commitment stands as an extension of my life philosophy: an open mind and genuine positivity fuel a relentless pursuit of excellence.”
In his new role, Kosasih’s immediate focus will be on serving existing clients, driving disruptive and impactful ideas, and embracing AI to accelerate creative output. “Recognition is welcome, but it is a byproduct of results,” he noted.
With pitch season and Ramadan planning underway, Kosasih is expected to play a hands-on role in key campaigns and new business pursuits through the rest of 2025.
Reflecting on Kosasih’s return, Soum Banerjee, CEO of TBWA\ Group Indonesia, said: “In 2006, when TCP-TBWA Indonesia was barely past its first birthday, a young creative named Nicho walked in with big ideas and a bigger appetite. He burst onto the scene by winning Daun Muda Awards in his first year, and the spark turned into a steady blaze. Over the years, Nicho’s work has been recognised by the world’s toughest juries... Not just winning, he has judged and led juries at multiple award shows.”
Banerjee also extended his appreciation to Wisnu, noting his leadership in building a strong creative team and winning iconic business during his tenure.
