Seven Media Group has appointed long-serving Paramount executive Nick Bower to lead a new unified sports sales operation, bringing TV, streaming and audio under a single commercial structure.

Bower will join Seven in early 2027 as commercial director, sport – TV, audio and streaming, reporting to chief revenue officer Natalie Harvey.

The appointment brings together sports sales across the group's television and audio businesses, giving advertisers a single point of access to its sporting rights, audiences and commercial partnerships.

It also marks a return to Seven for Bower, who previously spent 10 years with the network across sport sales, sponsorship and senior commercial management.

He joins from Paramount Australia and New Zealand, where he served as general manager of ad sales and sport sales director, and has more than 20 years of experience in sports commercialisation across Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

His career also includes senior roles at Football Marketing Asia, FOX Sports and True Digital Group, with experience spanning the AFL, Olympic Games, Australian Open and Formula 1.

The newly created role is part of Seven Media Group's push to integrate its television and audio operations, following the combination of Seven and Southern Cross Austereo.

Bower will oversee sports sales teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, working alongside Seven's director of sport – TV, audio and streaming, Chris Jones, to align commercial partnerships with programming, production and sports rights.

The structure will allow Seven to package sports sponsorships and advertising across its television broadcasts, streaming platforms and audio assets, including Triple M.

The appointment follows Seven's recent upfront presentation, where the group outlined plans to leverage its expanded television and audio portfolio, with live sport remaining central to its commercial strategy.
