Razer Inc. has elevated Nikhil Kharoo to senior director, global head of PR and partnerships. In his expanded role, Kharoo will lead the company’s global PR and partnerships function, overseeing teams across the US, Europe and Asia, according to his LinkedIn.
As senior director, Kharoo will drive Razer’s global narrative, strategic collaborations, and brand leadership at the intersection of gaming and technology. Prior to this promotion, Kharoo was director, global head of PR and partnerships, having first joined Razer in 2024 as global PR director. His career spans leadership roles across several notable brands, including head of PR, partnerships and health solutions marketing at Google, and head of PR and partnerships, APAC at Fitbit.
He began his career in India with Burson-Marsteller, joining as an associate in 2008 and rising to senior director by 2017, according to his LinkedIn.

Kharoo’s appointment comes as Razer continues to expand its AI offerings and collaborations with global lifestyle and pop-culture heavyweights. Last month, the brand unveiled Razer AVA, an AI companion that operates as a 5.5-inch animated 3D hologram or as a desktop and mobile assistant. AVA uses human-like vision and audio sensing for full contextual awareness, helping users organise schedules, consult on work tasks, and even guide gamers to victory as a virtual gaming wingman.
Earlier this year, Razer also partnered with global superstars BLACKPINK on a full range of gaming and lifestyle accessories. Inspired by the band’s recent “Deadline” tour, the collection blends BLACKPINK’s signature aesthetics with Razer’s tech offerings. It was showcased at a world tour pop-up store in Hong Kong, giving fans a chance to experience the lineup and immersive displays ahead of the products’ global release.
