Naga DDB Tribal has bolstered its creative leadership with three senior appointments, marking another step in the agency’s commitment to strengthening its capabilities and culture as it heads into 2026.

All three - Walter Teoh, Jeff Ooi, and Andrea Ma - are returning Nagarians who have made their way back to aid in propelling the agency’s vision and fortify its talent base as it continues to evolve through the Naga Network.

The appointments were created to reflect Naga DDB Tribal’s commitment to nurturing talent, strengthening cross-agency collaboration, and investing in industry leadership as the agency continues its momentum following recent business wins and network growth.

Teoh rejoins Naga DDB Tribal as executive creative director after eight years at Leo Burnett, where he led creative for major brands including Maxis and Maggi. He brings with him a strong telecommunications legacy, having also worked on Digi during the era that produced the iconic Yellow Man campaign alongside Naga DDB Tribal’s CCO Alvin Teoh.

Meanwhile, Ooi returns as executive creative lead for art, craft and special projects. A seasoned creative with nearly 30 years in the industry. He brings a particular strength in crafting excellence, AI integration, and the development of creative IP, areas that are increasingly shaping how Naga builds future-ready ideas and solutions for brands.

Ma re-enters Naga DDB Tribal with a strong background in client management and marketing strategy, having also spent time on the client side. Her focus will be on operational excellence and client leadership, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to continually raising the standard of service and delivery to its clients.

“These are members of the Naga family who understand our DNA — and welcoming them back to the fold is a powerful way to strengthen our creative, organisational and cultural foundation,” said Kristian Lee, group executive director of Naga DDB Tribal. “Teoh, Ooi and Ma return with an even broader set of experiences and a shared mission in Naga’s ambitions— toward building and defining our future as a company as well as developing more holistic solutions for our clients for the present."

"As we head into 2026, our focus is on elevating the quality and effectiveness of the work we deliver through the Naga Network — a connected ecosystem of specialist agencies working as one. Their return reinforces that belief in the strength of our people, our partnerships, and our pursuit to evolve and develop as a group of companies," Lee added.
