MiQ has unveiled a new-look commercial leadership team across Australia and New Zealand, with a series of promotions and new roles aimed at supporting growth as the company expands its product offering.
Group account director Paul Bates has been promoted to general manager of sales for Victoria and South Australia, while Hannah Cooper has stepped into the newly created role of general manager of sales for NSW, Queensland and New Zealand.
The pair bring a combined 40 years of experience across media and advertising, with backgrounds spanning organisations including Broadsheet Media, Cartology, REA Group, Yahoo7, Quantcast and Seven West Media.

They join the broader leadership team alongside Madison Wappett, who has been promoted to national commercial strategist, focused on strengthening partnerships across agencies, brands and platforms.
The restructure also includes the creation of four new group account director roles across the eastern seaboard, as MiQ looks to deepen its presence in key markets.
The expanded team will report into chief revenue officer Chris Freel, as the company looks to accelerate growth and drive adoption of its AI-powered Sigma platform.
“The launch of our AI-powered Sigma tool has opened up deeper, and more strategic opportunities for our clients,” Freel said.
MiQ Australia and New Zealand managing director Fiona Roberts said the new structure positions the business for its next phase of growth.
“All of these appointments are a critical part of our growth ambitions, as we prepare to expand our offering with another industry-first planning tool,” she said.
