Marriott Bonvoy, the travel loyalty programme of Marriott International, has unveiled its annual culinary campaign, showcasing regional specialties, local ingredients and masterful culinary craftsmanship across Hong Kong.

Titled “Taste of wonders 2025”, the campaign encompasses nearly 400 participating restaurants across Greater China. Under the theme “a city’s ingredients, infinite taste of wonders”, the initiative invites diners to embark on a gastronomic journey where the artistry of dining meets the power of Hong Kong’s culinary heritage and vibrant flavours, according to the release.

As part of the campaign, 10 chefs from 10 hotels under the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio around the city will each present a signature creation inspired by Hong Kong’s vibrant neighborhoods and cultural influences. The exclusive 10-course menu reflects Hong Kong’s unique position as a crossroads of east and west, where diverse flavours and storied heritage meet on the plate.

From 7 November, diners can sample a curated selection of signature creations at buffet corners in nine selected Marriott Bonvoy hotels across Hong Kong, offering a snapshot of the city’s diverse culinary landscape in one dining experience. Participating hotels include Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel and eight other properties.

Buffet highlights include aromatic drunken seafood with kaiso salad and preserved plum sauce, featuring premium abalone and scallops gently poached in aged yellow wine, alongside double boiled chicken soup with fish maw and Yunnan ham. Standout mains encompass wok-fried Australian M9 Wagyu with black truffle, with additional options including desserts.

Beyond buffet corners, six participating hotels in Hong Kong are enhancing the experience with exclusive à la carte and set menus that honour the city’s culinary heritage through signature flavours and seasonal ingredients. Offerings range from YUE at Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel’s steamed mugwort rice dumplings to fried dace and salted black bean pâté with qiandao lake caviar on crispy rice crackers, a refined tribute to the nostalgic canned fried dace beloved by generations. Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, Renaissance Hong Kong Harbor View Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin are offering set menus in their Chinese restaurants or private dining venues.

Meanwhile, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points at participating venues, with access to exclusive benefits and experiences. Additionally, diners who make a purchase at the Marriott Bonvoy booth during the 2025 wine & dine festival will receive a 20% discount voucher for taste of wonders-themed dishes at 10 participating hotels.

"At Marriott, our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and masterful craftsmanship is at the heart of our food and beverage offerings,” said Richard Boyer, regional vice president, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Hainan, Marriott International, Greater China. “As a city where tradition blends seamlessly with innovation, Hong Kong is a vibrant hub of culinary inspiration. Through 'Taste of wonders', we celebrate Hong Kong’s rich culinary heritage and artistry, from the flavours that define each neighborhood to the artistic presentation that transforms every dish into a feast for the senses.”
