The finalists of the 14th edition of the Marketing Excellence Awards Malaysia have been revealed, showcasing the nation’s most innovative, creative, and resilient marketing talent.
This year, 47 categories are up for grabs—including a brand-new ‘Excellence in Live-Streaming Marketing’—giving brands and agencies even more ways to shine. The prestigious ‘Marketer of the Year’ award will recognise the top performer across all entries, celebrating strategic brilliance and creative impact.
A panel of 17 client-side marketing leaders meticulously evaluated this year’s submissions, highlighting campaigns that seamlessly marry creativity with results. Lin Zheng, CEO of Ninja Van Malaysia, praised how entries captured attention while delivering tangible business outcomes while Nurul Adila Johadi, head of marketing at Bank Rakyat, emphasised the shift toward building emotional connections and trust, noting how marketers navigated global sensitivities with strategy and sensitivity.
“It’s inspiring to see campaigns that not only grab attention but also deliver tangible business results,” said Lim.
“The focus is now on building emotional connections and restoring trust within communities. This evolution shows the growing influence of marketing in strengthening trust and building long-term brand equity, as reflected in this year’s credible and thoughtful entries," added Adila.
To add on, Ashokan Raveindaran, head of market intelligence, Pos Malaysia said the campaigns set a new benchmark for creativity, strategic clarity, and measurable impact. "I was truly impressed by the creativity, strategic clarity, and measurable impact showcased in the submissions. The campaigns reflected a deep understanding of audiences and market dynamics, setting a new benchmark for marketing excellence in Malaysia,” he said.
“The entries were a true showcase of creativity at its peak where bold ideas, driven by insight, transformed into powerful outcomes that will inspire the future of marketing," added Raveindaran.
Echoing his statement, Saiful Nizam Ahmad Shahrom of YAPEIM called out the fresh thinking and real-world results demonstrated by the submissions, while Lydia Ng of Kärcher Cleaning Systems noted how standout work connected creativity with culture and community, laying a strong foundation for the future of marketing in Malaysia.
“These campaigns don’t just catch the eye—they create genuine impact, which is what true marketing should deliver,” said Saiful, adding that it was a privilege to witness the passion and hard work that went into the submissions, and expressed optimism for what these marketers will achieve next.
Ng added, "Through bold ideas and smart execution, these brands delivered results that set a strong foundation for the future of the industry."
