lululemon has appointed Roy Lan (pictured) as regional head of marketing for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore.
In his new role, Lan will lead the brand and community function across the region, overseeing integrated marketing strategies aimed at building brand awareness, long-term brand love, and accelerating growth in key markets.
He will be responsible for regional and local campaigns, community and cultural initiatives, as well as omni-channel storytelling across digital, social, PR, retail, and experiential touchpoints.

Lan brings over 13 years of experience in marketing for global sports, lifestyle, and technology brands. His previous roles include senior marketing positions at adidas, ASICS, Under Armour, Reebok, and Samsung, where he led market-specific strategies, regional campaigns, and culturally relevant storytelling across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Pacific.
In a statement, the brand said that Lan is passionate about connecting global brand vision with local insights, navigating cultural nuance, and building meaningful relationships with communities, partners, and influencers to drive sustainable growth and long-term brand equity.

The appointment comes as lululemon continues to strengthen its marketing presence in the region. Last year, the brand tapped WPP Media to handle media buying and planning for its digital and brand remit, following a competitive pitch.
The two-year engagement covers Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia, extending WPP Media’s existing regional strategy mandate. The agency was reportedly selected for its strong understanding of local market nuances.
