Japanese retail chain 3COINS to make Hong Kong debut this July
share on
Japanese retail chain 3COINS, known for its affordable yet stylish household goods and accessories, is set to open its first Hong Kong outlet in Causeway Bay this July. The move marks the brand’s latest overseas expansion.
Signage at Hysan Place in Causeway Bay confirms the upcoming launch, with the store currently under construction. The display also features the words "by Yaichi谷日百貨," a Japanese grocery e-commerce platform, suggesting a potential collaboration between the two parties.
Additionally, 3COINS has posted job listings for sales staff in Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, according to a MARKETING-INTERACTIVE review of recruitment platforms.

Social media reactions have been mixed. Verified posts indicate some users welcome more affordable retail options, while others express concerns about potential price increases. 3COINS has not yet disclosed official pricing for its Hong Kong stores.
Founded in Japan in 1994, 3COINS with its motto "ちょっと 幸せ" (a little bit of happiness), aims to bring small moments of joy to customers through its products.
The brand sells household essentials, fashion accessories, and beauty merchandises, a product range similar to Japanese rivals, including Daiso and Muji. However, its pricing strategy in Hong Kong remains untested.
