The wait is over, MARKETING-INTERACTIVE is proud to unveil the finalists for the 21st Agency of the Year Awards 2025.

With 34 fiercely competitive categories, the 2025 edition shines a spotlight on the city-state’s top agencies excelling across performance, product, people, and perspective.

From homegrown heroes to global powerhouses, the finalists are now in the running for the prestigious titles of 'Overall Agency of the Year' and 'Overall Local Hero' — honours reserved for those who have pushed creativity, strategy, and results to extraordinary heights.

The judging panel, an assembly of 14 senior marketing leaders from across the region, carefully evaluated every entry, recognising the outstanding creativity and strategic thinking behind this year’s submissions.

Chanderni Polo Yeap, senior vice president, consumer banking group at DBS Bank, hailed the submissions as a showcase of imagination and boundary-pushing creativity.

“It's inspiring to see the impressive range of entries. The innovation and creativity showcased deserves praise. Your work sets a high standard for others to emulate, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in marketing. I'm eager to see what you accomplish next,” he said.

Echoing that sentiment, Sudarshan Singh, general manager at Groupe SEB, commended the strategic depth that underpinned the creativity. “I was impressed by the level of disruption and innovation with each submission having ideas rooted in strong insights, demonstrating creative ways to bring concepts to life while effectively engaging audiences," said Singh.

"The focus on ROI efficiency highlighted the strategic thinking that drives success in today’s competitive landscape. Congratulations to all the entrants for showcasing their outstanding work, and a special commendation to the winners for truly distinguishing themselves among a remarkable pool of talent," he added.

For some judges, it wasn’t just the creativity that stood out, but rather the clarity of purpose driving it.

“This year’s submissions weren’t just campaigns; they were bold statements of intent. They reflected agencies that are not only keeping pace with a rapidly evolving landscape, but actively shaping it. From razor-sharp strategy to fearless creativity and transformative results, the bar has been emphatically raised," said Shaan Ng, head of marketing, Singapore & Export Markets at AkzoNobel.

Ng also called out the role of AI in this year’s top entries: “Clever use of AI—not as a gimmick, but as a tool to unlock sharper insights, streamline execution, and enhance creativity at scale.”

Meanwhile, Carine Chin, head of corporate marketing at Etiqa Insurance Singapore, praised the boldness of this year’s entries. “This year’s entries were a reminder that great work comes from brave thinking. It’s inspiring to see agencies not just adapting, but reimagining how creativity, data, and purpose can work together to make a real difference. Big congrats to all the finalists.”

Winners will be crowned at a live gala dinner on 27 June 2025 at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.
