Heckler Singapore has appointed Dora Claire as executive producer and head of production, completing a new leadership team alongside managing director Jonathan Gerard and creative director Cody Amos as the creative studio looks to expand its presence across Asia.

Claire will lead creative operations, new business and strategic partnerships, with a focus on bringing Heckler into the creative process earlier, from shaping briefs and developing ideas to overseeing production.

Claire joins Heckler from Distillery, where she most recently served as director of creative operations and delivery, following two years as senior producer for APAC. Before that, she spent nearly five years as a senior producer at electriclime°, working across Sydney, Dubai and Singapore. Her earlier experience includes production roles at MAKE Productions and Reel Loco Productions, where she worked on projects spanning factual television, documentaries, news and branded content for clients including Bloomberg, Channel NewsAsia, McDonald's and StarHub.

In her new role, she aims to position Heckler as a creative partner from the outset of a project, rather than solely as a production specialist brought in during execution.

Commenting on her appointment, Claire said that "Heckler has an incredible foundation of talent, technical craft and production expertise. But I want people to think of us earlier in the creative process. We can help shape the brief, challenge conventions and find smarter, more exciting ways to bring ideas to life."

Claire also highlighted the opportunity to bring together advertising, entertainment and filmmaking, using cinematic storytelling and emerging technology to develop work that resonates with audiences.

She added that Singapore's position within the region could help Heckler connect creative talent, brands and ideas across different markets, while building partnerships that retain their local relevance.

Will Alexander, co-founder and CEO of Heckler, said the leadership team would combine production craft, creative thinking and emerging technology to pursue opportunities across Asia.

“Asia doesn't need another production company. It needs creative partners who are prepared to challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of what's possible,” he said.

Her appointment follows that of Gerard as managing director. Gerard joined Heckler in August 2026, after five years at VaynerMedia APAC. He succeeds Lily Li who first joined the agency in June 2025.

Heckler is an independent creative studio specialising in production, post-production, visual effects, animation, design, colour and sound. It operates studios in Sydney, Singapore and Amsterdam, with an expanding international presence.
