Havas Red Brisbane has been appointed by Farmsafe Australia to deliver two national integrated campaigns aimed at reducing deaths and injuries on Australian farms.

The 2026 campaigns will focus on behavioural change, awareness of on-farm risks and safer outcomes for farming communities across the country.

The work will form part of National Farm Safety Week and combine communications, creative storytelling and stakeholder engagement to reach farmers, families and the broader agricultural sector.

The appointment adds to recent momentum for Havas Red’s Brisbane team under executive director Nicole Streete, as the agency expands its integrated communications, marketing, social and creator offering.

“Farmsafe Australia plays a critical role in improving safety outcomes for farming communities across the country,” said Streete.

“We’re proud to partner with them on two national campaigns designed to drive meaningful awareness and behavioural change at a time when the industry is facing serious challenges.

“Our experience across agribusiness, combined with a strong integrated offering puts us in a unique position to deliver work that cuts through and connects with regional audiences.”

Farmsafe Australia executive officer Stevi Howdle said National Farm Safety Week remained a key moment for the industry to address safety culture.

“National Farm Safety Week continues to be one of the most important opportunities we have as an industry to stop, reflect and reset the standard we want to see on Australian farms,” Howdle said.

“These campaigns matter because they create conversations that reach beyond compliance, into culture, leadership and the everyday decisions that shape what’s considered normal on farm.”

Howdle said the first campaign, Show ’em How It’s Done, would build momentum across the industry during National Farm Safety Week.

The Farmsafe appointment follows Havas Red Brisbane’s recent work in agribusiness, including a client win with Nutrafruit and a four-year partnership with Norco.

Havas Red operates from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as part of Havas Village, with its ANZ team working across PR, social, content and experiential campaigns.
