HAVAS Red and H/Advisors launch joint venture in SG to deepen regional comms footprint

HAVAS has launched a joint venture between HAVAS Red and H/Advisors in Singapore, combining strategic corporate communications with HAVAS Red’s PR, social, experiential and content capabilities across Southeast Asia.

The move marks a deepened regional footprint for both networks under HAVAS N.V., with a focus on integrated storytelling, corporate reputation, and high-impact campaigns tailored to local and regional markets.

HAVAS Red, the global PR arm of HAVAS N.V., has been on an expansion spree. In recent years, it launched in India, Japan, Greece and Africa. The agency now operates in 21 markets, with a client roster spanning Toyota, adidas, Booking.com, Far East Hospitality, UNICEF and more.

H/Advisors, HAVAS’ strategic advisory arm, also operates in 21 markets with over 1,500 consultants. In the past two years, it has scaled aggressively through acquisitions in Australia, Singapore, Dubai and Portugal, and recently opened a Brussels office as its global public affairs hub. Clients include Amazon, Google, IKEA, AstraZeneca and LVMH.

In Singapore, the new venture will be helmed by Mark Worthington, managing director and co-founder of H/Advisors Klareco.

Worthington will lead HAVAS Red Singapore in addition to his current role, and the new entity will integrate Klareco’s brand PR team under the HAVAS Red banner.

Kenny Yap, who previously led HAVAS Red Singapore since 2017, took on the CEO role at HAVAS Play Singapore in April 2025. He will continue to oversee existing clients.

“The time is right to further expand our team in Singapore, where our colleagues are already delivering groundbreaking work with iconic clients,” said James Wright, global CEO of HAVAS Red and global chairman of the HAVAS PR Network.

“As part of the HAVAS Red Network, clients have access to borderless insights and thinking to fuel creative campaigns that build lasting relationships and drive business growth,” added Wright.

Stephane Fouks, executive chairman of H/Advisors and EVP of HAVAS, added that the joint venture strengthens the group’s presence in Asia’s fast-growing markets.

“Bringing our teams together will enable us to be an even more powerful and integrated partner to clients in Singapore and across the region,” said Worthington.

In tandem, Rana Barua, group CEO of HAVAS India, Southeast and North Asia, added that the move is aligned with the network’s “One Asia” strategy. “Enhancing our capabilities across the region, and particularly in Singapore, is central to our approach of delivering impactful narratives and meaningful connections,” he said.

The Singapore joint venture is the latest in a string of moves designed to deepen collaboration between its global networks, while aligning capabilities across corporate communications, brand storytelling and strategic advisory.

It follows the recent launch of CSA, Havas Media Network’s global data and analytics consultancy, in Southeast Asia with James McNeely taking the lead.

It also comes as Havas consolidates global leadership, most recently naming James Wright, global CEO of HAVAS Red, to lead the group’s operations across Australia and New Zealand.
