Green GSM Philippines has brought together up to 5,000 current and prospective driver partners for a three-day festival designed to connect the driver community with its growing electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
Held from 12 to 14 September at The Tent in Las PiƱas City and Green GSMās depots, the Green GSM Platform Driver Partner Festival combined community activities, EV demonstrations and business opportunities for drivers looking to participate in the countryās transition towards greener transport.
A key part of the festival was the handover of 1,000 electric vehicles. The rollout is intended to give drivers access to additional vehicle and operating options while helping Green GSM expand its service capacity to meet demand for mobility services.

The festival also introduced a vehicle rental model developed through Green GSMās cooperation with VinFast. As part of the programme, eligible driver partners can choose between VinFastās four-seater Herio Green/VF 5 and seven-seater Limo Green.
Beyond showcasing vehicles, the festival gave participants opportunities to test-drive the EVs, ask Green GSM about electric vehicle operations, learn about relevant policies and benefits, and receive assistance with the registration process required to begin providing services with EVs.
The event also marked the launch of the Global Green GSM Driver Partner Community in the Philippines, which aims to provide a platform for drivers to connect, exchange experiences and stay updated on policies and developments across the Green GSM ecosystem.
Through the community, driver partners will be able to share their experiences of operating EVs and providing mobility services, while building connections with other members of the wider driver network.
āThrough the Green GSM Platform Driver Partner Festival and Car Handover Week, Green GSM aims to accompany the driver community in its development and expansion while enhancing both quality and professionalism. We seek to create more livelihood opportunities for drivers to access optimised and efficient operating models that can significantly increase their earnings. At the same time, we expect the event to inspire and help lay the foundation for the next phase of green mobility development in the Philippines,ā said Le Thi Thu Trang, CEO of Green GSM Philippines.
The festival comes as Green GSM continues to expand its electric taxi operations across the Philippines. The company currently operates Green GSM Car and Green GSM Limo, a seven-seater premium taxi, in Metro Manila, Central Visayas and Mindanao.
It is also working with local taxi operators through partnership programmes aimed at supporting the adoption of electric vehicles.
From AI-powered marketing and the friction economy to retention-led growth, DMA Philippines 2026 on 29 September in Manila will bring together marketers to tackle the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of digital transformation.
