Gojek and rock band Perunggu strike a chord for connection

Gojek, the ride-hailing giant, has launched a new video campaign in collaboration with Indonesian indie rock band Perunggu. Titled "Pasti Ada Jalan," the music video explores the importance of connection and gratitude amid life's routines.
Directed by Adriel Manoe and produced by Fostive Visual, the video follows workers in various settings, immersed in their hustle. As they pause to share food delivered by Gojek or reunite with loved ones through Gojek rides, moments of connection emerge, bringing warmth and smiles.
"It's about making people feel something - excitement, support, trust, connection," GoTo Group's head of marketing, Bharat M. Buxani, said on LinkedIn. "And that's exactly what we set out to do with Gojek's latest video collaboration with Perunggu, known for their raw energy, poetic lyrics, and socially conscious themes."
Maul Ibrahim, Perunggu's vocalist, shared that this was the first time the band had been commissioned to create a song for an external project. "Pasti Ada Jalan" was released in the midst of the band's work on their second album.
He revealed that Gojek holds personal significance, as both he and drummer Ildo once worked there - a phase of life that helped shape who they are today.
"The moment we got the offer, we didn't even have to think twice. We just said, 'Bismillah, let's go, gas,'" Maul explained, on why the band agreed to the collaboration.
