



Cigna Healthcare HK names new chief customer officer, marketing and partnership

Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong has promoted Sarah Tam (pictured) to chief customer officer, marketing and partnership, effective 1 August.
In her new role, Tam will oversee the marketing growth plan for the health insurer, and will lead the team to deliver strategic business goals based on customer and distribution channel insights and analytics.
Tam brings over 20 years of diverse marketing and digital experience in the insurance and financial services sector. She first joined Cigna Healthcare in 2024 as the head of communications for Hong Kong, where she was responsible for strategic communications, marketing communications, digital communications, public relations, community engagement, and brand and reputation management.
Prior to joining Cigna Healthcare, Tam set up a social innovation consultancy in 2022 that developed digital and marketing strategies for organisations to assess, build and enhance programmes through strategy design, marketing, technology implementation, and skills development.
Before that, she also helmed various senior roles at Peak Reinsurance Company, a Hong Kong-based global reinsurance company, as well as insurance brands such as Blue Insurance and Chubb.

Back in July, Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong sponsored the 2025 HYROX Open Asian Championships for the second year, which was held at AsiaWorld-Expo. Over 10,000 athletes took part in this year’s event, according to Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong's LinkedIn post.
