Beyond advertising: How Adbrownies Group creates impactful experiential spaces
share on
Modern marketing extends far beyond traditional print and digital ads. True engagement happens when audiences physically experience a brand, product, or place. Adbrownies Group has established itself as a pioneer in experiential marketing, proving that the agency’s capabilities go well beyond traditional advertising.
By merging creative storytelling with immersive visual technologies, spatial design, and fabrication, Adbrownies transforms complex public initiatives into memorable, touching physical environments that connect communities.
Turning complex utilities into captivating journeys
At O·PARK1, Adbrownies demonstrated how exhibition design can turn a specialised utility facility into a vibrant visitor attraction. The visitor experience follows a curated narrative flow, beginning with an engaging theatrical musical performance that sets a high-energy tone.
The team brought the beloved "Big Waster" mascot to life off the screen as a physical host. Utilising projection mapping and a state-of-the-art projection dome, the space "shrinks" the audience to give them a front-row seat inside the intricate waste-to-energy process. Wrapping up with interactive games, the facility makes environmental education a dynamic, multi-sensory adventure.
Rapid delivery and high-tech storytelling
Speed, precision, and spatial creativity came together in The Loop (河套科創建築館), an exhibition centre delivered from scratch in just 90 days. Featuring intertwining LED ribbons at the entrance atrium, the space creates a dynamic visual loop that symbolises the shared vision and interconnectedness between Hong Kong and mainland China.

Inside, a custom "flying bird" kinetic installation adds a touching moment of wonder, reminding visitors that development can move forward with wildlife in mind. Alongside the Northern Metropolis’s first interactive projection-mapping sand table, the space translates complex urban planning into an inspiring, tangible vision.
Fostering community inclusion through spatial design
The agency's expertise in civic engagement shines in two major Community Liaison Centres (CLCs) commissioned by the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD):
- Hung Shui Kiu / Ha Tsuen New Development Area CLC: Guided by the theme "To gather・To glow," this award-winning facility bridges high-tech development with local village heritage. Highlights such as the "Harmony tree" art installation, which modernises the traditional walled village culture of gathering under a tree, and an Urban-Rural Integration Feature Wall create a memorable, localised experience. Combined with 3D naked eye LED displays and an AI photo studio, these elements turn dynamic future blueprints into an accessible community asset.
- Civil Engineering Office (CEO) CLC: Located at Ma Liu Shui Promenade, this centre celebrates "connection" across land, sea, forest, and living. An immersive cinema introduces the department’s work, while a suite of interactive digital games turns civil engineering into hands-on learning. AR wall markers offer interactive photo-taking moments, while wooden stamps and pencil rubbings over bronze tokens bring sustainable engineering concepts directly into visitors' hands.

The power of physical touchpoints
By engineering tactile, tech-driven, and emotionally resonant spaces, whether through interactive sand tables, immersive domes, or cultural art installations, Adbrownies Group continues to redefine experiential marketing. These projects prove that when ideas move off the screen and into physical reality, public engagement shifts from passive viewing to a lasting, memorable connection.
