Battenhall opens SG hub as Rhian Robinson takes charge of APAC

Battenhall is doubling down on Asia-Pacific with the launch of a new regional hub in Singapore as the global social media agency looks to strengthen its footprint across the region.

The expansion will see new roles created in social media consulting, creative and client management as Battenhall scales its presence in markets including Australia, China, India, the Philippines and Thailand.

To drive the next phase of growth, Battenhall has promoted Rhian Robinson to managing director, UK, EMEA and APAC, expanding her remit beyond the UK and EMEA to lead the agency’s push in Asia-Pacific.

Under Robinson’s leadership, Battenhall has seen client growth in sectors spanning FMCG, technology, science and fashion, which the agency said helped deliver its strongest year to date.

“Rhian has been instrumental in delivering our most successful year to date at Battenhall since joining us nine years ago. The success she has delivered in global growth across APAC, while running the UK and EMEA operations, demonstrates both her abilities and the trust that clients are willing to place in her and her teams,” said Drew Benvie, CEO of Battenhall.

“She has already established a core team in the region, with employees in India, the Philippines, and Thailand, who will be key team members in Battenhall’s next phase of growth in APAC and internationally,” he added.

To her promotion, Robinson said “I’ve been fortunate to be part of a tremendous APAC growth journey for Battenhall’s global clients over the past year. What comes next, with new clients in APAC, and team expansion plans, will help Battenhall to deliver even greater international reach and deep regional capabilities. I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

Before opening its Singapore hub, Battenhall had already established a presence via core team across key markets including India, the Philippines and Thailand.

Most recently, the agency secured the global retainer for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners in December 2024, managing community engagement across 31 markets, 12 languages and three continents.
