
Are Media appoints Nisar Malik as Victorian head of sales to accelerate digital growth

Are Media has appointed Nisar Malik as head of sales for Victoria, strengthening its commercial leadership team as it pushes deeper into digital and omnichannel advertising solutions.
Effective 26 May, Malik will oversee sales operations across Victoria, reporting directly to Are Media director of sales, Anna Quinn. He will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the company’s portfolio, which spans digital, print and programmatic offerings.
Malik brings more than 25 years of cross-platform media experience, including senior roles at Nine Network, Paramount and Network Ten. His background in digital strategy and integrated solutions is expected to play a key role in Are Media’s next phase of growth, as the company continues to evolve from a traditional publisher into an omnichannel content and commerce business.
“We’re thrilled to have Nisar on board,” Quinn said. “His deep experience in digital and integrated media solutions, combined with his leadership and commercial expertise, will be instrumental as we continue to evolve our advertising offerings and meet the growing demand for more dynamic, connected solutions.”
The appointment comes as Are Media ramps up its digital expansion following its recent partnership with Dotdash Meredith. The deal gives Are Media access to a broader digital audience and new content capabilities, expanding its offering to clients seeking brand-safe, scalable advertising environments targeting Australian women.
