Adidas has partnered up with media production company Heckler to launch an inspiring four-part film series highlighting those that drive everyone to run that extra mile.

Made for both Malaysian and Indonesian markets, the four 30-second clips showcase interactions centred around a common activity: running. The first clip shows a conversation between friends who are gearing up for their morning jog. The group has a friendly chat before dashing off, with one man excitedly telling the rest to "enjoy their run".

"We all need someone to make us believe. You got this," the on-screen caption read.

The second clip follows a group of three jogging along a track. The group then takes a break, tiredly huffing and puffing from their run. Shortly after, another man runs by them, encouraging the group to keep running as it was close to "buka puasa" (break fast). The group then excitedly runs behind the man.

The third clip highlights a man taking a leisurely jog around a neighbourhood, greeting familiar faces before arriving back home to his family. The clip ends with a shot of an adidas supernova shoe.

Similar to the third clip, the final video in the series follows a different man running around a neighbourhood before he meets up with a friend outside a food truck for a meal. The video also showcases adidas' supernova shoe.

Recently, adidas unveiled its partnership with Liverpool Football Club (LFC) with a new multi-year partnership that will see the sportswear giant once again become the club's official kit partner. The deal is said to be worth £60 million (US$77 million) a season.

LFC and adidas partnered together through some of the club’s most successful eras and memorable trophy lifts, first from 1985-1996 and again from 2006-2012. During this time the Reds secured an array of silverware, including three top-flight domestic league titles and three FA Cup wins.
