Westin turns a good night's sleep into a power move

Westin Hotels & Resorts has launched a new campaign positioning restorative sleep as a source of energy and preparation, as the hotel brand looks to encourage guests to "Own your mornings".
Created by BBH Singapore, the campaign challenges the idea of sleep as a passive activity, instead framing a good night's rest as the foundation for taking on the day. It also aims to position Westin, part of Marriott Bonvoy's global portfolio of hotel brands, as a destination for deep and restorative sleep.
At the centre of the campaign is Westin's "Heavenly bed", alongside the brand's other sleep-focused offerings including its 'Sleep well lavender balm' and 'Sleep well menu'.

The campaign is anchored by an anthem film following a family as they take on their morning after a night's rest. The film contrasts soft visuals of everyday morning routines with a hard-hitting voiceover, presenting otherwise ordinary moments as feats powered by a good night's sleep.

Through the creative treatment, Westin and BBH Singapore aim to shift the conversation around rest from simply winding down at the end of the day to preparing guests for what comes next.
A 30-second hero film leads the campaign, supported by 15- and six-second cutdowns running across digital and out-of-home (OOH) channels. Print executions are also rolling out across Japan and India, while the campaign will appear on Westin hotel televisions across Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC).

“With “Own Your Mornings” we’re showing what true restoration at Westin can give you. At Westin, sleep is power. We don’t just believe in better sleep, we believe in what better sleep does. You wake up clear, grounded, and ready for the day," said Cassandra Leong, senior director, brand marketing Marriott International (owner of Westin Hotels & Resorts).
In tandem, Khairul Mondzi, ECD at BBH Singapore, said, “We live in a world where people brag about being sleep-deprived, and we’ve completely forgotten how much good sleep matters. The truth is, you are how well you sleep. We wanted this campaign to treat sleep for what it really is: something that gives you the power to take on your day.”
The campaign marks another collaboration between Marriott International and BBH Singapore, following a regional push earlier this year to reshape how travellers perceive its Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.
Titled "Loyalty's just that easy", the Asia Pacific campaign sought to make Marriott Bonvoy feel simpler and more accessible, including to infrequent travellers. Its hero film followed an everyday traveller discovering that experiences beyond hotel stays, including dining and spa visits, could also earn Marriott Bonvoy points.
