1. Will the Chocolate Finance's CEO note post withdrawal blunder rebuild trust?

Financial services firm Chocolate Finance's CEO, Walter de Oude, has taken to LinkedIn to address the recent suspension of its instant withdrawal on 10 March. In his statement, de Oude explained that even small decisions can have big consequences, mentioning that the newly launched HeyMax Miles partnership was designed to be groundbreaking.

While the mistake definitely left a lot of consumers frustrated, PR professionals MARKETING-INTERACTIVE spoke to said that de Oude's post was a step in the right direction for rebuilding trust.

2. Malaysia's VoxEureka enters Singapore and Indonesia

VoxEureka, a Malaysia-based integrated marketing consultancy, has expanded into Singapore and Indonesia, reinforcing its ambition to build a strong foothold in Southeast Asia. Leading the charge in these new markets are industry veterans Tiara Robyn Chew and Mutia Taufieq, a release said.

Despite being newly established, VoxEureka's Singapore and Indonesia teams have already secured key clients, with TikTok Singapore and Universitas Teknologi Surabaya (UTS) signing on within the first month.

3. MIXUE Malaysia rolls out diversity campaign post controversial 'racist' job ad

MIXUE Malaysia has rolled out a new campaign promoting diversity. The campaign comes as the ice cream and tea brand faces controversy for an allegedly racist job ad that had went viral on social media. 

"MIXUE makes us one" sees the brand featuring three employees of Indian, Malay and Chinese race in an Instagram post. Accompanying pictures of the employees are blurbs highlighting their various strengths including professionalism, speed, store management and the ability to stay calm.
