MARKETING-INTERACTIVE is thrilled to unveil the finalists for the 22nd Agency of the Year Awards 2026, spotlighting agencies shaping Singapore’s marketing landscape through creativity, strategy and impact.
This year’s edition features finalists across 36 categories, recognising work spanning independent agencies to global networks. Two new categories have also been introduced — ‘Integrated Communications Agency of the Year’ and ‘Sustainability Communications Agency of the Year’ — reflecting a growing focus on innovation and purpose-led communications.
Finalists will compete for top honours including ‘Overall Agency of the Year’ and ‘Overall Local Hero’, which recognise the strongest overall performances across the industry.
Entries were evaluated by a panel of 15 senior marketing leaders from across the region, who assessed submissions based on creativity, effectiveness and execution. “This year’s entries showcased the coming together of two powerful forces — creativity and innovation on the agency side, alongside a strong receptivity from clients for disruptive work. Congratulations to all participants. Your energy and passion are what make great work happen every day,” said Rajat Jain, managing director at Nestlé Singapore.
Meanwhile, Julien Dahmoun, Julien Dahmoun, head of media marketing at StarHub, noted a stronger focus on fundamentals in this year's submissions. This includes sharper thinking, stronger evidence and a clearer link between the work and the outcome, according to Dahmoun.
Sok Hoon Koo, director of marketing at Shangri-La Singapore, pointed to the balance between creative output and execution. “Many of the nominated agencies delivered spectacular results and created memorable work. The ones that truly stood out were those that balanced success with caring for their teams and executing with clear, well-defined strategies,” she said.
For Michelle Yang, general manager, marketing & CRM at BMW Eurokars Auto, the strongest entries demonstrated consistency across performance, product, people and perspective. The strongest entries, according to Yang, went beyond commercial results to show how outcomes were driven by deliberate investment in talent, culture, AI, technology and a clear point of view on the industry.
“That kind of coherence is rare, and when it’s there, it truly stands out. Congratulations to every agency. The rigour behind putting these stories together reflects the incredible work your teams have achieved. I am proud of the strength of agency leadership in Singapore and how much the best continues to deliver above and beyond,” she added.
Similarly, Joyce Yao, director of marketing communications at York Hotel Singapore, said agencies are raising the bar with stronger purpose-driven creativity and measurable impact. She pointed to a higher calibre of submissions this year, with agencies “not only achieving client goals, but also challenging expectations and delivering measurable impact,” she said.
“Strong capabilities, innovative strategies, cross-disciplinary expertise, and the use of AI technology are now expected baselines in the industry. What defines truly successful work is creativity grounded in purpose, supported by a team that understands the client’s ambitions and brings the vision to life with intent.”
The winners will be announced on 24 July 2026 at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, where the industry will gather to celebrate the best work across Singapore’s agency landscape.
